Comtest and its Partner for commercial EMC test chamber solutions in Czech Republic, H-Test, have recently completed and commissioned an EMC test laboratory for VTP Unis a.s. in Brno.
The Laboratory includes one EMC anechoic chamber for emissions tests at 1 m & 3 m and immunity tests at 1 m and 3 m. The chamber is equipped with state-of-the-art Comtest HT-45 & HT-25 polystyrene absorbers. In addition to the anechoic chamber one ancillary RF shielded room for control equipment is supplied.
The chamber was independently verified by Seibersdorf and its performance meets and in some cases exceeds the given guarantees.
NSA according to CISPR 16-1-4 Ed. 3.1 - 2012-07 (Clause 5.4.4) Reference Site Method (RSM), at 3 m range in a volume of 1.2 m diameter x 2 m height within ± 3.5 dB
sVSWR according to CISPR 16-1-4 Ed. 3.1 - 2012-07 (Clause 8), at 3 m range in a volume of 1.2 m diameter x 2 m height below 5.5 dB
Field uniformity according to IEC 61000-4-3 Ed. 3.2.2010, in a plane of 1.5 m x 1.5 m, from 0.8 m from the floor, meets 75% of the points between 80 MHz and 18 GHz.
The new EMC test facility will be used to perform measurements according to EN 55011, EN 55014, EN 55015, EN 55022, EN 61000-4-3 & -6, DO-160-F, being a very comprehensive and state-of-the-art test facility.
